A NEW family-run garage business is offering servicing and maintenance for cars and vans at a price that undercuts many rivals.
MGM Motor Services has just opened its doors for business near the former Royal Doulton factory in Burslem where brothers, Mick and Garry Matthews, offer a relatively cheap but professional and friendly service.
Fully equipped with the latest Bosch diagnostic equipment and with an extensive background in the VW//Audi marques - although geared up to cater for any make or model - MGM has two ramps in its new workshop and because of the height of the roof is able to accommodate high cube vans up to 3.5 tonnes.
Garry said: "Mick has ample experience in the garage and mechanical trade and is highly qualified and I have ample experience in running the office and business side. We have wanted to work for ourselves for a long time and so we have decided to pool our skills and experience in MGM Motor Services.
"We are only a small business at the moment but that means our overheads are very low compared to others. We can compete on quality of service and on price.""
Situated in Unit 2, Hobson Street, Burslem, MGM charges £40 an hour (inclusive of VAT) will arrange collection and delivery so they can service your car while you are at work, can take MOT work or have a broken-down vehicle which won"t start brought to the workshop.
