SKODA - CARS YOU LOVE TO OWNIF you’re looking for the most satisfying car to own buy a Skoda because according to a survey of more than 50,000 drivers the Czech manufacturer delivers more in this respect than any other make.
Four of its models were in the top ten cars in the Which Car? Study, the multi-award winning Yeti (4th); the flagship Superb Estate (6th); and two generations of the Superb Hatch (9th and 10th). All of them achieved approval scores higher than 94 per cent, an exceptional performance, and both hatch and estate derivatives of the Fabia and Superb were also highlighted as best buys’ in the survey.
Which? Car Editor, Richard Headland, said: “If you really want to know about cars, ask the experts the people who drive them every day. Motorists have told Which? Car that they love practical, good value cars, exemplified by Skoda.
This is hardly a one-off result. Skoda has been in the top ten in the equally influential J.D.Power customer satisfaction survey for the past 18 years. Earlier this year it won the Auto Express magazine’s Driver Power survey and last year it took 25 major awards.
It sales too are on the increase and last year its registrations were up by more than ten per cent, to 41,000, giving it a two per cent market share.
