SUPERCARS IN STOKE-ON-TRENT.IF you are on the A50 on Thursday morning you might be in for a bit of a shock as £2 million worth of supercars cruise past on a charity run.
A collection of exotics, including Ferrari's, a rare Pagani Zonda F roadster - one of only 25 in the world - Aston Martins, Porsches and Bentleys from the GROUP20 SuperCar Club stable, and all carrying the Pudsey Bear logo will be en route to Alderley Edge after leaving their overnight stay in Derby as part of a national fund-raising drive for Children in Need.
The cavalcade leaves Derby at 9 am and is due in north Cheshire by 10.30, passing through Stoke-on-Trent.
GROUP20 Associate Simon Grantley said: "This is probably the first time Pudsey has featured on the bonnet of such exclusive machinery, and we are hoping to raise a substantial amount of money for Children in Need from collections en route, as well as special evening auctions over the four-day event."
He added: "I would like to thank all of our sponsors and partners, including Autoglym, Lotus, Mercedes Benz and Audi for their support. Everyone involved is looking forward to the event and raising as much money as possible for this valuable cause."
